I just have a regular size backyard, but big dreams...
I, too started out spending $25. I think it'll be about $400 this
year. The more you see, the more you like!!! It's still less than my
wife spends on jewelry from QVC. (Uh-oh...)
I am getting one new intro, so that pushes the total up. I also buy
two rhizomes of the cheaper irises, so that I'll have a better chance
of seeing bloom next year, 'cause I'm not a patient person!!! This has
also helped if one dies. If they BOTH do horrible, I can figure on it
being the cultivar, not something that I'm doing wrong. Or that my
garden has somehow been magically transported to East Tennessee!!!
