So I'm not the only one who lives beyond my means when it comes to
irises! <g>
The first two years, I ordered from Schreiner's, so it was the standard
$40 order.
Then I found Sutton's. A tidy little order there. (This was the year I
joined the list.)
Then I ordered catalogs from everywhere, and ordered from as many as I
could... I am afraid to think of how much I spent last year. And yes,
it *was* my own money, as was my trip to the convention. You'd be
surprised how petsitting money, birthday present checks, and loose
change add up! That, and I cleared out my savings account!
This year, I promised myself to be good. The only $100+ order goes to
Keith Keppel... for now.
Rusty in lovely Colleyville, TX, where it's one week to my birthday, and
Altered State, Everywhere, and Bill Shear's Iris Albicans bloomed
today... a week earlier than the first bloom of last year.
