OK.... if I could ONLY have two bearded irises, they would be:

PINK BUBBLES - a frothy pink border bearded, just as feminine a flower as you
could want - and tough as nails

BUMBLEBEE DEELITE - an MTB with yellar standards and maroon falls that stand
out like propellers.... When planting this iris, just drop it in the ground
and GET OUT OF THE WAY!

If I could only have two Siberian irises, they would be LAKE KEUKA - a medley
of blue
and FAIRY FINGERS.... a strange little white iris that is like no other
siberian out there.

If I could have only two Japanese irises, I couldn't do it.... because I can't
live without NIAGARA POWER ... a gunmetal blue JI with pinky/lavender
standards, STATELY FLAMINGO.. a flamingo-esque 3-fall that TOWERS over
everything... and this TDF seedling that I saw at the Ensata spread last
year..... raspberry sherbet standards and falls, edged with a wide white
band.... and layer upon layer of petals, resembling a delicious peony blossom.

Kathy Guest.... who can feel her heart race as she pictures the bloom on all
of these irises ... while the reality of the situation is that there is still
snow on the ground in E. Aurora, NY
