Yikes....I am sorry to have mislead folks, we don't get wind gusts
like that every day but often enough to flatten a tall TB with heavy
bloom stalks.
Oh, the rain is more problematic for the TBs and lilium which
is why I am fortunate that I love Siberians and Japanese irises
and daylilies.
*Snow is still on the ground....except for the new front garden
which is heavy on TBs is covered with 1" of mud which is
frozen today making it look like brown bricks with plant markers
sticking out like sails on a rough sea.
How much is that parcel of land in California?
