SUPREME SULTAN is the only variegats that grew well for me at the old place
and I brought it with me. Maybe I'll have to go with an interesting (but not
introducable) white/lavender bi-color I have from SILVERADO X LATIN LADY.
The seedling grew tall and well at Alvaton. But I will be interested to see
how it does here. I had several fair ones from this but kept the strongest.
A bad winter wiped out the prettier ones. Retrieved it from a bank where I had
thrown it away.
---------
RED FRINGE is a medium increaser
I bought RED FRINGE the year it was introduced. It died about the quickest
of any I've ever had. If memory serves me, it's half purple.
--------
LADY FRIEND which I finally acquired after 4 years.
I forgot about LADY FRIEND. It's a 'different' kind of red. Didn't bring it
either. It is so strong here that it would take over the entire garden! I
have this in a couple of seedlings so I may not replace it.
Thanks for the input. I appreciate it.
