I've spent the last week tackling the last of the weeds in my beds and trying to trim more fans infected with leaf spot.
 
I want to thank Jeff and Arnold, and especially Anner for their wonderful advice.  All of the iris are definitely looking better.  But believe me, I won't be lax in continuing to trim and spray them.  However, they are much improved and with the warm weather over the past couple of weeks are starting to swell.  I have to be careful how far down I trim them since it's obvious that some are getting ready to put up stalks.  I have one bloomstalk on the iris that threw up a bloomstalk in December.  It's an unknown, but I was thinking that after it opened I might take it to Loleta Powell (she's fairly close) in hopes that she can identify it.
 
Hopefully, we saw the last of our cold weather this past weekend with overnight temps in the low 30's.  We are anxious to get the vegetable garden started too.
