One more item that I forgot to add - short dormancy in the true potato seed
was also correlated with shorter dormancy in the potato tubers. It would be
interesting if shorter dormancy in iris seed was associated with shorter
dormancy in iris rhizomes. Perhaps there is some association with the
ability to rebloom? Just a thought. Any other thoughts out there?
