It may not be a diploid that is over running her irises. I'm sure that a
single atom of NEW SNOW (the iris, not that stuff that falls from the
sky) would rapidly grow and take over from many of my Cv's if given 1/2
a chance. It will be very difficult to dissect out all of the tiny bits
of white rz's too. I remember someone on the list (ages ago) saying that
they shredded their unwanted irises, composted them, then used the
compost for mulch. Bingo! - tiny iris plants growing everywhere!

I vote we do that!! Leave it for the Hem peoples to explain that we were
only pulling her leg. :-)
