I certainly don't have any answers but Juri Pirogov from Moscow,
Russia is a member of this list and also belongs to the Siberian
list. He certainly knows the state of iris hybridizing and doings
in his country. Juri posted recently about dark red irises on this
list.
I don't think this is off-topic, BTW. It doesn't fit our subject
headings but the world of irises is large.
Ellen (Juri and I share the same climatic conditions...ugh)
