TB: (Re)Bloom report in Aus!!

From: "Jan Clark" <janclarx@hotmail.com>

Hi all,
What a wonderful morning it is here in Castlemaine, central Victoria,
Australia. Glorious autumn sunshine streaming down, and a quick stroll
around the front yard revealed two (yes, not just one, but TWO) TB's
actually blooming.

CATALYST, and MOUNTAIN VIOLET, both known rebloomers, have slyly popped
up buds without my noticing, and are currently opening.
I thought I had been watching things fairly closely too. Well, I won't
be sitting here for long, I can assure you!

Not only that, but some of the SDB's appear to be showing swellings at
the base.
Both LITTLE LOUIE, and SWISH, (both have rebloomed in autumn here
before, but not this early!)

NOT ONLY THAT, (sorry if I'm yelling but this is just so incredibly
exciting) but there are actually (can you believe this) buds forming on
SKY HOOKS, and SILVERADO. I have had some strange rebloom over the past
few months, but even I would not have expected to see bloom at this time
of the year, on these two!!!

Sorry for the breathless excitement, but it's more than I can cope with.
Must go back out into the garden and check EVERYTHING ELSE, just in case
I've missed some.

What a WONDERFUL day it is!

BTW has anyone noticed
how all my postings
appear a day ahead
of everyone elses,
and it is in fact,
already April
here in Australia.

It
is,
in
fact,
April
Fools
Day!!!

Cheers, Jan Clark
Having a bit of fun, and feeling really envious that many of you are
enjoying spring bloom.
