Hi folks,
After a bad borer infestation last year I am applying Cygon for the
first time and I have a couple of questions about its application. A
local perennial 'expert' told me to apply it as a soil drench but I
checked the archives and the package insert and it seems to be a foliar
spray, so that's how I'm using it. Is it necessary to get it on every
leaf or just to make sure I have hit every fan? We have been expecting
rain for 3 days now but it hasn't come yet so I finally decided that I
had to take the chance and spray. If it does rain, how many hours or
days has to pass before it is absorbed and I won't have to reapply it?
Someone mentioned that she does it 3 times, every 10 days at this time
of the year. Should I follow this regimen?
Thanks for all the advice. I certainly don't want to see any of those
critters again!
