Anyone looking for shows to visit or enter this weekend, be advised:
ENID, OK has their show this Saturday, May 13th.
TULSA, OK has their two day show this weekend Saturday & Sunday May 13 & 14th
and all judging occurs on Saturday. Tulsa Garden Center 21st & Peoria.
Sooner State, OKC, OK has their last and final show (the Late show) this
Sunday May 14th, Mother's Day. Will Rogers Garden Exhibition Center I-44 &
NW 36th St.
I know the weekend will be busy as shows will also be going on in Joplin, MO
and Wichita KS. If I recall correctly, Ponca City, OK may also be having
their show this weekend too... This weekend should definitely finish off
Oklahoma. With many more days of 90's like we had on Sunday and Monday, the
bearded iris I have in bloom will be finished off as well. The medians are
already just about done. I know I for one am ready to chop down all that
ol' iris foliage and let the daylilies begin!
