Re: OT:CULT: Blooming White

This sounds like the dread European variety I. weissenbluemmer. Craving
lebensraum, it displaces irises of color and replaces them with its own
near-white progeny. When all irises of color have been eliminated and all
the available space occupied, I. weissenbluemmer begins to diminish,
morphing into I. weissenbluemchen. Eventually, it becomes I. verschwundet,
and disappears altogether. One needn't wait for the process to run its
course, however. The best treatment is to root out the little bugger as
soon as its behavior is observed.
