As soon as you get some recruits, please tell them part of the ritual is
they have to a) swear never to buy an iris from a color picture, b) swear
that they'll never put so many rhizomes in their garage that the can't park
their car there, and c) swear that the closet is for shoes and clothes and
not for iris catalogs and convention memorabilia.
