Welcome to this part of the "World of Iris."

I know you live in great iris growing country. My sister who lives in 
Shoshone found she had to plant her iris deeper than I do as the winter soil 
is so very dry. Is that what you do?

I live in Western, WA State so many conditions are different. I find it 
interesting what the soil conditions can do to the iris. Generally just small 
things but the amount of sunshine, acid soil, alkaline soil, heat and cold, 
natural rain, or irrigation of some sort all add up to a whole lot!
