You too?  Pollen is sure scarce here!  Later blooms on a stalk seem 
to fare better.  The first bloom of HAPPENSTANCE was pollen-bare, the 
next had good anthers.  No pollen on WISHFUL THINKING (but this may 
be normal), however a frozen stalk of FOGBOUND that produced one and 
only one magnificent bloom DID have pollen, and is it ever getting 
used!

What a year.  Upside down bloom sequences, blows hot, cold, humid, 
dry, rains on you, dries up as it comes our way----over and over.  
Despite it all, the garden looks glorious and I'm having the time of 
my life.
