Hi, Linda
I am not sure what you consider a difficult growing area, however, I
have had good
results with American Classic (Schreiner'96) and Rhonda Fleming (Mullin
'93).
Out of the 50 or 60 TB irises I have American Classic is one of the best
for growing and increasing. Rhonda Fleming is above average and even
bloomed well after the
late frost (low 20's) we had last year without cover.
American Classic is listed (EML- is this early medium late ?) and Rhonda
Fleming (ML).
