Thank you for mentioning Winnipeg, Neil! There's quite a few people in Zone
3 and colder that would buy more TB's if more were reliably hardy here. The
historics seem to fare better than the newer ones do.
Today, MDB Grandma's Hat bloomed for me on Mother's Day, like it usually
does! Also SDB Eye Bright started to bloom yesterday. They're both in a
checkerboard square I made out of sidewalk blocks. Everything in there is
ahead of the rest of the garden! There's quite a few other MDB's and SDB's
starting to set buds now too. Finally!
