Under AIS rules, I don't think so. For Horticultural and Youth
Divisions, the handbook is clear about the degree of exhibitor
involvement that constitutes a legitimate entry, but in the Seedling
Division, the requirement is that "Seedlings must be entered under
seedling number or registered name and must be made in the name of the
owner or originator of the clone." 

Seedling awards at iris shows go to the PLANT, not the EXHIBITOR. There
is no no need to limit entry to the hybridizer. That would be contrary
to the goals of the AIS.
