When you have arthritis, you tend to tire much quicker than others.
I have RA and try to keep garden tools handy without carting them
everywhere. I think a good idea, if you have a sizable yard, is to
put a mailbox at your fencepost, post or tree trunk and keep a pair
of gloves, trowel, clippers, scissors, hand rake, etc. inside. Then
you do not have to carry them out to the garden every time you go to
work in it. If you cannot kneel long, or at all, I use a rug and a
rubber knee pad. Then you can alternate kneeling and sitting in a
fairly comfortable way. I have a trash bag holder which I can keep
at the end of the rows to put the garden trash in.
