Hello to every one
My name is Rochelle, and am now a devotee to the iris and one
or two other things. I am particularly interested in the historic
Irises, and am currently putting together a collection with
rhizomes being collected from lots of different people around
Australia. I hope to register this collection in the near future but I
have a lot of work ahead of me. If you would like some details on
this I would be happy to email them. I am a Landscape Architect
by trade, and I am currently completing a Grad Dip at Burnley
College which is our oldest Horticultural College. I am very
interested in developing some contacts overseas who are
interested in developing seed from Historic varieties. Sources of
Historic Iris are very scarce and I am interested in broadening
the colour range and the gene pool. If there is anybody who
would be willing to assist I would love to hear from you. I look
forward to chatting with some of you in the future, I'm sure there
wil be a lot of knowledge to be gained from you all, especially
with the historic cultivars.
