Re: iris color question


Dear Loralynn,
     If you don't like the yellow iris, remove them & all rhizomes attached 
to them to another area. Do not allow the seedpods  to release their seeds 
among the other irises. Remove all seedpods before they scatter the seeds. 
You can plant them in a separate seedling area if you want to see what they 
will look like; but like all children, they may or may not look anything like 
their parents. This is probabally how the yellow ones got mixed in with the 
purple ones you like.
