I will post more later, but just had to comment on LEADING LIGHT, new
for me this year. It bloomed, without any protection, and has increased
so much it looks like a three year old clump. Nice showy bloom on
slightly shortened stalks with low bud count.
SMILING FACES (bonus from Keppel last year) has also put on a lot of
healthy increase. It was protected from the worst of the freezes, & the
bloom was tiny on a short stalk, with the form that Keith says he likes
best - it looked like a little MTB or tall SDB. The bloom was only
about 3 inches across - perfectly horizontal falls (ick). I know others
like this form & thought might be interested to hear it is a good
healthy grower so far.
HAPPENSTANCE hasn't fared as well, but it had no protection, & the
increase looks ok.
