Hi all,
I bought Firestorm last year out of a whim. It has been blooming for 4 days now and is just beautiful. Next to it I have a White that I think is called Infinity. It was a gift iris. It seems to bloom down in the folliage but very pretty anyway. Could be that it isn't crazy about where it is planted so I plan on moving it and see how it does in a sunnier location. Baby Blue Marine, IB, started to bloom yesterday. It is always a real looker for me and I have had it for a very long time.
Last week I bought an iris that came with the label of clear yellow. I received it from a nursery. It is a yellow with bronzey shoulders and lighter blended blaze area under blue beards. Stigma is White tiped with yellow. Not at all like the picture. Also unlike the picture it had 5 standards and 5 falls on one flower. I doubt that it will do that again but raced it home for a picture. As soon as I can get them developed and borrow my friends scanner I will post it. I hope the pic comes out real good. The flower was stunning.
