The South Plains Iris Society of Region 17, Lubbock, TX had their show
today. There were 111 horticultural entries and 9 designs. The Design
Sweepstakes was won by Rosemary English. The Best Design of Show was won by
Rosemary English also. The Best Youth Design was by Kali Pearce. The Best
Specimen of Show was Chiffon Ruffles, shown by Vernon and Dana Brown.<G>
South Plains Iris Society limits their entries to 15 entries per person and
the Silver Medal was won with 15 blues this year by Vernon and Dana
Brown.<VBG> The Bronze medal was won by Mary Ann Jones. The Best Seedling
of Show was won by SDLG 98-51-7 an IB seedling entered by Vernon and Dana
Brown.
Some days are just better than others<G>!!
