TB:photo identification

Not sure how to do this but I am going to try. The tag has disappeared from the ground around this iris and I do not remember it's name. I hate not knowing what a plant's name is in my garden. The color of the iris is true although the foliage looks whit in places, it is green as can be in the bed. I guess the bright late afternoon light washed out the couple leaves there? Can you help me identify this tall, large blooming iris?
