Re: CULT: Transferring seeds

It works for me Al except I use 4" to 6" pots and line out in August. A rich potting sol with sand and compost. I have 75% first year bloom this way. Of course I don't have hundreds of seedlings to deal with.

  Subject: [iris-talk] CULT: Transferring seeds

This month in a bed I discovered 4 seedlings from 2000.

I have sprouted seeds in 8" pots. I want to transfer the sprouts to
six pack containers, before lining them out. I want the sprouts to
develop a good system before I put them in the cold ground. Most of
the time I have time to piddle around.

Is this a good approach, a bad approach or just wasting time?
