Being able to define standards, recognize them and adhere to them is not
something I would describe as 'picky'. Even though my own standards are
difficult and balk at specifications and definitions, they are still there.
One of the reasons your evaluations of irises interests me so much is that
it seems almost 180 degrees from my own approach. That's not to say we
wouldn't have irises we both liked on our lists, but the means and
definitions of how they made that list would come from different routes. So
I wish I could see your seedlings. They would be interesting to me at the
least.
