Lipstick Lies
Michelle - "How long should I wait for an iris to bloom?" I got Lipstick
Lies as a gift about 5 or 6 years ago, maybe longer. It bloomed for the first
time this spring. Now I normally wouldn't allow the dang think to stay that
long. It grew among fellow iris blooming left and right, fore and aft. It
bloomed not neither did it increase. I moved it and it grew among fellow iris
blooming left and right, fore and aft. It bloomed not neither did it increase. I
decided to throw it away last year. But at the last minute planted it in a
much less ideal spot (or so I thought). Lo and behold. It bloomed this
season. I had a similar experience with Perfect Pitch although it increased every
year and I gave part of it to a friend who finally got it to bloom. I finally
sent mine to compost hell.
