The last address I have for Merle Roberts is:
irisbuff@bentonrea.com
Don't know if it is still good or not. I've not talked to him in a while. His
Sun Ada Beach was among the most desired irises by people visiting here last
year.

He also has a sibling seedling to Sun Ada Beach that looks as good and
performs at least as well (01-181-A). Likely both photos are in the archives along
with Widdershins.

Laura Beulow is pictured in the archives as 97-96a. It one of those irises
you can look at several different different times during the day and see a new
story. It was not registered at the time the photos were posted. It
carried/carries the added bonus of rebloom here. Likely it is one of the most modern in
form of irises that rebloom in my climate. The big long story of 97-96A was
published by that Shadlow girl in the Reblooming Recorder, Spring 2004. Sometime
after that it was one of the top seedlings (award winnin' ?) showcased in
Italy (I think).

I like that Roberts fellers stuff! He culls unmercifully.

You have a good eye for a good iris.

Smiles,
Bill Burleson
