Tulsa's second show, held May 7th and 8th, had pretty good cooperation from 
Mother Nature, with only a brief shower on the second day.  Top winners in the 
Horticulture Section were:

Queen of Show, VENETIAN GLASS, shown by JoAnn Minter.
First Runner-up, MOUNTAIN VIEW, also shown by JoAnn Minter.
Second Runner-up, and also best Historical, STUDY IN BLACK, shown by Ollie 
Hibdon.

This show had a Design Section, with 17 arrangers making a total of 24 
designs in six classes.  Six blue ribbons were evenly divided among six arrangers.  
Winner in the Youth Class was Leah Winzer with a design featuring her school 
colors.  Winner of the Designer's Choice award for all classes was Maryhelen 
Davis with a dual water design in two containers.
