HYB: Another Louisa's Song Seedling

Had another Louisa's Song seedling open yesterday: Rippling River x LS. Like
most seedlings, always one flaw. Good stalk, great DARK purple (black grape)
color, darkest in the fall centers and the tips of the standards. Well
ruffled, tightly-closed standards, the one flaw is that the
arched/semi-flaring falls are too elongated for perfect proportion. The
flowers are huge.

Someone mentioned a rake for cleaning leaves from iris beds. In my previous
home, neighbors had pepper trees, ask trees, and a jacaranda all of which
smothered my iris beds with debris. Rakes are kinda' brutal; I taped a large
nylon paintbrush to an old broom handle and used that to sweep between the
fans.

In A Kiss and Honey House (Blyth iris) are both blooming very prettily here.
So are a couple of spurias (I like Adobe Sunset); and the gladiolas are just
starting.
