Jeff, thanks for the elaboration.  I'd missed the connection to the  
"Chimera."  I see a lot more "Chimeras" than sports.  Is this because  most people 
don't separate the rhizomes and, being unstable, they revert back to  the normal 
gene configuration before the clump is divided?
