Rebloomers here don't get any extra care unless it's been exceptionally
dry, in which case I sometimes give clumps in the yard a good soaking
with the garden hose. Unless it has rained a lot during the growing
season, I don't give them more fertilizer than the rest.
In my experience, <most> rebloomers here won't start sending up stalks
until 6 wks or so after we've had at least one cool night. I'm
experimenting with <heavy> mulch this year to see if that will help keep
roots cooler, more consistently moist, and encourage more rebloom.
Mike Lockatell was going to do some experiments to see how important
lower temperatures are to initiating rebloom in eastern humid climates.
