In my garden, these are the Schreiner introductions that managed to bloom in spite of the awful weather this spring, even without any protection:
LACY SNOWFLAKE LUXOR GOLD PURPLE SERENADE (first year plant, in a pot) RIP CITY SEAKIST SUNNYSIDE DELIGHTNone were happy, but at least they bloomed. Except for PURPLE SERENADE, which was running on "juice" stored in its home garden last year, I expect all of these might tolerate 'normal' late winter/early spring hard freezes pretty well, most places.
