CULT: Stopping Roundup

I did a stupid.
Two days ago I was spraying a bunch of grass, and moved my Roundup jug, and 
was holding it and the spray nozzle in one hand, and then realized I was 
squeezing it and it was giving a good dose to a good sized clump of a 
species iris.   I got the hose and washed it down good, and washed it a 
second time a few hours later.   The entire row of grass is beginning to 
brown, but so far the species iris looks ok.  Was there any thing else I 
could have done?  Do you suppose I've saved it?
