Now that is a horse of a different color.  No test is required after
tutoring.  Hopefully, there has been a dialogue between the teacher and
student that allows the teacher to understand what their student knows and
what they need more help with. Sorry for the confusion!!

Chuck, are you asking about the tutoring that is given to  an Apprentice
Judge--the one-on-one session, or a general group garden  training session
given to multiple irisarians at  once?....they are two different things, and
I
think the answers given so far may  be confusing the two.

The one-on-one training for an Apprentice does not involve a formal test,
but rather a dialogue, I believe. At least, that is the way our Region has
done  it. And, I see no mention of a test on p. 6-7 of the Judges Handbook.

The general garden training, given especially at conventions and other
group outings, is for anyone, not just an Apprentice, and that does require
a
written test, is my understanding. P. 3-4 is relevant.
