Not a good time of year to be asking technical questions and our bloom season is over, so will try to remember to get into this again this winter. Nothing blooming here to soak ;-)
But my question was, assuming red beards have different pigments from orange red beards, that one or the other (or both?) have t-factor plus other pigments.
Based on 'red' petals, my guess was that 'true red' beards might be lycopene plus blue, while the orangey red beards might be lycopene plus yellow, pink would be just lycopene.
