Sorry, but the borer will drink malathion for lunch and not even burb....it
is of no use based on my experience. I once did a test putting borers in
mason jars in which I added Cygon 2E to one, malathion to one and bleach to
the third. The borer in the bleach jar died almost instantly. The one in
the Cygon died in a couple of hours. The one in the malathion was still
