In reply to your request for suggestions:
1. The first page would consist of links to other pages and
contain a welcome statement. Also, there would be a photo of last years
winning AIS champion iris. (I'm new at this list so I don't know what
events/contests exists.
2. A page or set of pages explaining everything there is about
AIS - A statement of purpose page, Show page, contest page(s) incuding
rules, etc., Ethical statements - beginners guide - A basic how to grow
instructions (maybe several pages relating to zone and specific iris types
- you get the idea
3. This suggestion would be a lot of work - A good photo with
name of an iris - sort of "The illustrated guide to iris names" These are
the "official" names.
My slightly more than $0.02 suggestion.

It's official. I have been commissioned to create an official AIS web page.
The AIS Board approved the expense of maintaining the site at their recent
board meeting at the convention.
I expect it will be ready about mid to late June.
Feel free to email suggestions to me. For the sake of the volume on this
List, perhaps it would be best to email me directly, rather than to the
IRIS-L.
