     This evening when planting some newly arrived beardless Iris plants, I
noticed that the Siberian Iris MARANATHA has several well advanced buds. 
It looks as though it could possibly beat the TB Irises into bloom.  This
is rather unusual as the SDB Irises are still blooming heavily.
