CULT; freeze damage survivors?/historics

The list of damaged cultivars continues. So far the only ones that have
bloomed at normal height and appearance are LACY SNOWFLAKE (which seems early
this year?), the MTBs DAPPLED PONY and IN FASHION, and my pallida x MULBERRY
ROSE? and a few other pallida crosses. The SDB SERENITY PRAYER just opened,
only a little shorter than R&I..

A few older unknowns are opening today and appear normal. Some day, I will
talk somebody with a camera into taking some pictures so I can try to get
them identified. One is a farily non-descript cream with more yellow in the
hafts and throat. Another is a beautiful clear white with faint
red-purplish-brown plicata dotting on the hafts and in a stripe down the
falls below a burnt orange beard, with gilt coloring on the hafts between
purplish haft marks, and a big spot of pale yellow on the falls below the
beard . This year, in all the cool wet weather, there is a very faint rosy
lavender cast to the standards in the opening bud. In hot weather, except
for the gold and veined hafts, this iris looks pure white with only the
faintest hint of dots. Another is a very slightly ruffled gray lavender blue
with yellow in the haft and beards - haven't stared at it enough to be sure
of details. These last two are really pretty.

Arnold K. and others who asked for seeds from my weedy ancestral siberians --
they are blooming well this year so maybe I will have some seeds to send.
The seedlings from the seeds from Park Seed company many years ago are also
full of buds and looking good.
