HIST: TB: BLANCHE CECELIA


BLANCHE CECELIA survived its untimely move to New Mexico and has now bloomed for
the first time -- its trademark Grapette fragrance faint, but discernable.  

Is anyone else still growing it?  Back in the 50s and 60s, it was widely grown
in Oklahoma -- the saying was you had to divide and share it or it would take
over the garden.  As I recall, BLANCHE CECELIA and OCTOBER SHADOWS were the only
ones we had that could overpower crabgrass....
