OT-BIO

Hi, I'm new to the list. My name is Kali, ok not really but after a bad
incident i don't tell anyone my real name :(  I am in Zone 5  Grand Rapids,
MI. I am a plant-aholic and I'm in the 12step program, still working on step
1. My iris collection started about 5 years ago when I started clearing some
brush along out driveway only to find about 5 dozen iris growing just on the
otherside. No one I know has planted them so I have yet to identify one, all
I know is they are purple. The other is Michigan's Pride. So I dug them all
up and moved them into my yard. Since then most of the yard has been
overtaken by flowers of all kinds but iris are still my fav. I'm working now
on expanding my collection but my boyfriend has banned me from going to
nurserys for a while since I can't seem to walk out with out buying alteast 4
new plants. Currently I'm growing Creative stitchery, a tall white bearded,
the mystery purple, japanese and siberian iris. The info I've gotten from all
of you has been great. Thanks
