<Anyone care to share their favourite TB (or possibly LA, Spuria
<or AB, since I might try my hand at these) bicolours? Also, flowers
t<hat are not technically bicolours but have a substantial washing of
<another colour (like I believe RAKU BLAZE and MEGABUCKS) are also
<appealing.
I love the blends and multicolors also. Unfortunately, the 'gene' for
bicolor seems to be linked to the 'gene' for 'don't grow in Linda's frost
pocket'. A few that have done really well are STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN, CAMELOT
ROSE, some really nice butterscotch and lavender blends whose names I don't
know, LIGHTENING RIDGE, FALL FIESTA, BAYBERRY CANDLE, QUEEN OF HEARTS (if
white is a 'color' -- from earlier discussions on the list, apparently not
happy further north), WABASH. I especially like P.T. Barnum, which doesnt'
grow or bloom well here, and am currently in love with something that I think
is VIGILANTE, just purchased from the lady who buys from Schreiners and
throws away the labels.
Most of these are pretty old.
