This slightly laced purple/violet has been blooming for a long time.
As it was being pollenated today, I found out why it has such a long
blooming period. In addition to three buds in the terminal, there are
three buds also on the branches. This is a carefree iris that has bloomed
faithfully for me since it was introduced....one of the few that bloomed
normally after last year's deep freeze. Linda Mann, pay attention!
