Your Welcome Bill; but when you put out such an iris, you don't need to
be shy. I bid & won this one rhizome in September thru the Christmas in
September program last year, and as of April 15th, have four pups with
two bloom stalks and a bud count of three and two on each stalk! It
bloomed each flower at a time, with the next one opening just hours
before the prior bloom started going down. Several visitors commented
on it. I don't know if it was just my soil or location, but the colors
were intense and clean. This will be a definite keeper. I'm moving it
to a larger space so that in 2000 I will have a nice large clump of it
for the Convention. I will space out the existing clump to give me a
two / three foot show. Hope to see you in Michigan!
