Here in Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas, Baboon Bottom had a slight musky
fragrance also.  Mine bloomed for almost two weeks, with one stalk going
to my boss, and one coming inside my house.  Since it was with several
other stalks, I could smell nothing except the more fragrant blooms. It
is a friendly plant here, but does increase nicely.
