Companion plants for TB's

My TB's (the SDB's can grow among the more powerful leaves of Daylilies,
at their outer reaches in the border) are interplanted with hardy Geraniums.
They grow tall, and do not mat the rhizomes, nor shade them too badly. I
cut them back if they do get out of hand. I have a 2ft high fence running
down the length of the TB bed to catch the basketball before it knocks
down the bloomstalk, and this fence supports the Geranium.

the Geranium seem to thrive on the soil and fertilizer and water requirements
of the TB's. So far at least!
