Re: mottled SIBs

Pink Haze is a lavender pink, has white marks (short dashes) in the haft
area. I don't grow Pink Sparkle- may have had it years ago and felt it was
not as good and tossed. Maybe it should have been used in my hybridizing as
it came from different line than McGarvey things. I have several generations
past PH and now have a few that are closer to "pink" but it is difficult to
get rid of lavender cast.In fact in the same cross I have pinks, lavenders,
whites, and wines. Unusual wine is Frosted Cranberry '91. I spent years
trying to get McGarvey pinks named correctly -there is so little color
difference. Anna Mae
